Worth knowing before you book
No editing is included
This package assumes the manuscript has already been through a professional edit and proofread. If it hasn't, say so when you message us — we'll be upfront about what it needs rather than take your file to print regardless. Proofreading can be added, or the Essentials package covers it as standard.
The two proof rounds are for the design
Your interior layout and cover go through a minimum of two proof rounds, same as every package — this covers the book's design and formatting, not a copyedit of your text. You approve the layout and the cover before anything goes to print or goes live.
About the 30 copies
Printed to a premium finish — the same paper stock, binding and cover finish as the copies your readers will buy, not a cheaper print-on-demand run. Delivered to one UK address after you've signed off the final proof. Extra copies, split shipments, or delivery outside the UK are quoted separately.
£995 is the full price
Not a placeholder. It covers every item on this list — formatting, cover, ISBN, distribution, metadata, two proof rounds, your launch materials and the 30 copies, packed and shipped. Nothing extra lands on an invoice later unless you ask for something outside this scope. Prices are shown in GBP — let us know if you need a VAT invoice.
If you need a third proof round
Two rounds is enough for almost every project. If yours needs more, we'll quote a small fixed fee for the extra round before doing any further work — nothing added to your invoice without your go-ahead.
Cancelling partway through
If you need to stop after work has started, you're only charged for what's actually been done at that point — we'll confirm the split with you and refund the rest.
